Did you know a goal of the Beaverhead County Resource Use Committee (BCRUC) is to support the development and revision of Beaverhead County Comprehensive Plan; to include all resources upon which county customs, cultures, and economy are dependent; provide county government with a tool that will enable the county to effectively influence government and non-government entities when making decisions that affect environment, customs, cultures, and economy of the people of Beaverhead County?

Madison County will be holding two workshops on preparing effective comments in preparation for the upcoming Forest Service Analysis of the Mangement Situation (AMS) and BLM Resource Management Plan (RMP) Digest public meeting in February.

The how-to comment workshops will be held at:

Thursday, January 23, 2003 Sheridan, MT at Bethany Hall, 6:30-8:30PM
Monday, January 27, 2003 Ennis, MT at the new Fire Hall, 5-6:00 & 6:30-8:30PM

The workshops will highlight understanding the federal planning process and writing comments to be most effective. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
