[Previous entry: "FS Quarterly Project Lists Available"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "B-DNF Monitoring Report Online"] 01/31/2002 Entry: "Feb 4, 2002 Beaverhead Watershed Committee Meeting" The next Beaverhead Watershed Committee meeting is scheduled for February 4, 2002 at 6:00p.m. at the Search and Rescue Building. The DEQ team from Helena will present information on TMDL’s with a specific emphasis on the Beaverhead Watershed. A TMDL is the total amount of a pollutant, per day, (including a margin of safety) that a waterbody may receive from any source without exceeding the state water quality standards. Darrin Kron and Alan Nixon will help us understand why streams are on the 303(d) list and discuss what type of projects can remedy the ‘pollution’ problems. The meeting is open to the public.
